Introducing Viticulture Horizons, an exciting new vineyard consultancy venture designed to add value to the New Zealand wine industry. Tony Hoksbergen –Director, Principal Consultant, Viticulturist (BAppSc, Viticulture)
Drawing on over 30 years of wine industry experience, I have the knowledge needed to offer real value to clients. I’m equally at home in the vineyard or the boardroom. My previous role as a wine company executive (past Director of Viticulture and Wineries of New Zealand’s largest wine company) and my practical viticultural experience, enables me to to provide unique insight into the opportunities and challenges facing our industry – insight that guides operational, strategic and tactical decision making. My vineyard consultancy service, based on global experience and international best practice, can be tailored to support key wine industry stakeholders, be they grapegrowers, viticulturists, winemakers, industry professionals or investors.
Personal Statement
"There is no other industry in the world today that draws together art, science, nature, business, sensory pleasure and friendship in such an integrated and creative way. It is truly a privilege to experience a career working with people who have been focused on creating an industry which continues to gain international kudos and recognition.

I am delighted to introduce my new initiative, Viticulture Horizons where I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with individuals and organizations that require an independent perspective on vineyard and viticulture challenges."
